User Story Asset Assignment for Finance

1. Login to Azure Dev Ops and go to the Empower project: https://dev.azure.com/hsol-opic/Empower
2. Go to Queries on the left hand menu panel.
3. Click on the Monthly Ticket Review query: https://dev.azure.com/hsol-opic/Empower/_queries/query/cc048bbb-4f8f-453d-aea0-7fe194fa91c4/
4. Change the dates to match the month you are assigning.
5. Within the Classification section of each Story Ticket, ensure that this is filled out and assigned to an Empower asset. The field for this is Asset 2H25 for the second half of FY25. This can/should change in FY 26.
6. Make sure that each user story has story points assigned to it. Finance will kick them back if not.
7. I typically read over the ticket and slot it appropriately. For tickets I’m not sure of, I’ll reach out to Evan and the engineering team to verify. This is also a good time to assign orphaned tickets to features if they don’t already have a parent.
8. Export the query results and send them to Kristen Danielsen in finance.
