Release Documentation

Overview

Empower releases are built in several phases:

Development - where engineers are building features.

QA - where QA members are testing for bugs after a release version is "cut".

Deployment - where deployment engineers are pushing the new release to environments and testing out pipelines to ensure integrity.

Once the Testing is completed in IN environment and singed off by the QA team, Then the Release is cut from all the Repos.

The image is created as a Release Image from all the repos as 1.XX.X Ex: 1.31.0

Subsequently the Image for Devlopment will be Incremented to 1.32.0-Alpha.x and for IN it will be 1.32.0-in.1

The release Team will deploy the changes to what ever environment it is required.
