Sandbox Deployment
Automated Steps
Prerequisites
- Access to the empower-clients repo
- A light text editor such as VSCode will work perfectly
Steps
- Pull empower-clients
- Go to the file manifests/dv/sandbox-instances.yaml
- Add to the yaml list under environments.
- name: This will be used to name the sandbox resource group and resources. Resource group name format will be {name}-empower-sandbox-southcentralus
- plan: If set to auto, this will keep the sandbox inline with the terraform deployment. Auto is good for initial deployment. Set to an empty string "" if manual customization is desired.
- empower_api_version: The version of the empower api to be deployed. Unless otherwise required, set to the latest stable version of the api.
- Push up your changes and pr into development.
- Once the new entry in the list is merged, automatic deployment should take 30 mins.
