Setup a new integration runtime for a customer​

Note:​

These docs only cover how to setup multiple Emp-OnPrem-IRs. This does not cover how to setup two IRs in the same environment. As of 2/21/2024 the infra code does not have that capability.

Step 1​

Suspend the adf deployments that you want to attatch the new IR to in weave gitops.

Step 2​

Decide which env the root IR is going to live in.

Step 3​

In empower-clients, change the value of the key ir_datafactory_host to the string "self" Then add a new value for the irhost datafactory name in the resource names dict. Add these values to the development branch.

Step 4​

Run that specific adf deployment in weave gitops. Wait for it to succeed.

Step​

Have the customer follow these onboarding docs for the new IR with the new irhost datafactory.

Step 3​

In empower-clients, change the value of the key ir_datafactory_host to the resource id of the new IR. Add these values to the development branch and then unsuspend those deployments.
