Data Architect​

  • Lead development, validation, publishing, and maintenance of logical and physical data models
  • Develop and maintain system design documentation, architecture diagrams and other artifacts
  • Lead technical interactions with API and Frontend and SRE team to build, support and deploy new features on Empower platform
  • Analyze functional and non-functional business requirements and translate into technical data specs; create or update existing logical and physical data models to support long-term solutions.
  • Troubleshoot errors and bugs reported on the Empower platform
  • Serve as technical and data consultant for Empower initiatives with major platform and technology implementations
  • Provide leadership and guidance to other team members
  • Develop robust ETL pipelines to support data engineering features and initiatives

Senior Architect​

  • Utilizing knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices to inform solution design on Azure cloud
  • Providing technical leadership through translating business requirements into solution design
  • Lead development, validation, publishing, and maintenance of logical and physical data models
  • Develop and maintain system design documentation, architecture diagrams and other artifacts
  • Serve as point of contact for data integration topics within solutions (e.g., technology), from source systems to data consumers; define process, tools, and testing requirements
  • Analyze functional and non-functional business requirements and translate into technical data specs; create or update existing logical and physical data models to support long-term solutions
  • Provide leadership and guidance to other team members
  • Lead technical interactions with API and Frontend and SRE team to build, support and deploy new features on Empower platform

Senior Data Engineer​

  • Be the expert in data engineering – Databricks, SQL, PySpark, Azure Data Factory,Delta Lake etc
  • Develop Pyspark notebooks as required by the Data Architect and as per business requirements
  • Be an expert in State DB and modify as required for data ingestion, extraction and modelling capability
  • Troubleshoot errors and bugs reported on the Empower platform
  • Provide feedback to push product innovation
  • Prototype new approaches and build solutions at scale to deliver new capabilities on the Empower platform
  • Develop and maintain system design documentation, architecture diagrams and other artifacts

Principal Data Engineer​

  • Be the expert in data engineering – Databricks, SQL, PySpark, Azure Data Factory,Delta Lake etc
  • Promoting continuous process improvement in development practices, code quality, testability & reliability
  • Delivering on critical business priorities while evolving platform towards its strategic vision
  • Developing and testing resilient, scalable, and reusable services and APIs utilizing latest frameworks and libraries
  • Collaborate with internal clients (data science and product teams) to drive solutioning and POC discussions
  • Evolve the architectural capabilities and maturity of the data platform by engaging with enterprise architects and strategic internal and external partners
  • Prototype new approaches and build solutions at scale to deliver new capabilities on the Empower platform
  • Manage and scale data pipelines from internal and external data sources to support new feature launches and drive data quality across data product
  • Troubleshoot errors and bugs reported on the Empower platform
  • Provide feedback to push product innovation

Engineering Manager​

  • Manage the productivity of the API , UI/UX and data engineering team
  • Have discussion with all the team members to identify the progress and blockers
  • Coordinate and partner with global logic and Hitachi HR team to bring right technical talent for our empower team (conducting interviews)
  • Facilitate discussion within different teams (UI/UX, API, SRE, data engineering, QA and delivery team) for new feature development
  • Facilitate discussion between cross team to remove any blockers during development and coordinate smooth transition
  • Lead the technical teams to meet the business expectation and timelines in terms of deliverables
  • Partner with business and client facing teams to understand the business requirements and generate technical specs
  • Coordinate with different teams (UI/UX, API, SRE, data engineering) to generate technical PBI’s during sprint grooming sessions
  • Manage interactions with external stakeholders and external teams
  • Manage technical and architectural discussion with API , UI/UX and data engineering team
  • Provide feedback to push product and process innovation
  • Work closely with Product manager and architects to see that engineering efforts are aligned with our product goals

Senior Software Engineer​

  • Write clean and reusable code with comments, unit tests, and documentation
  • Work closely with team members across engineering, product, design, and others
  • Mentor engineering staff and help encourage and enforce good coding practices
  • Build secure, scalable back-end systems that people rely on for real-world outcomes
  • Understanding and practice of DevOps principles
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
  • Promote usability best practices and reusable code
  • Optimize backend systems and services for data security, modularity, computational efficiency and scalability
  • Provide timely and effective response to incidents to minimize the impact on our customers and keep colleagues updated as required
  • Take full ownership of products and their technical solutions
  • Work on multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Design, develop, and release high-quality maintainable code
  • Ensures SDLC operating standards such as Continuous Integration & Deployment, Unit/Integration Tests are followed and help the team by bringing in new ideas to improve the SDLC process

Lead software Engineer​

  • Write and review clean and reusable code with comments, unit tests, and documentation
  • Is accountable for meeting assigned project objectives including timelines and internal standards. Works on the most complex projects and provides innovative suggestions for solutions.
  • Provides technical support to sustain a highly efficient and reliable technology environment across the software development platform.
  • Keeps technical skills up to date with a strong desire to evaluate new products and technologies. Makes recommendations and pursues the adoption of such products and technologies.
  • Receives broad goals and overall objectives from Product Managers and collaborates with technology teams under agile framework in achieving those goals.
  • Proactively develops and maintains strong knowledge of Empower application stack and their related components. Makes recommendations to improve the reliability, scalability, performance, or security of these systems as appropriate.
  • Serves as technical mentor to other members of the team.
  • Experience working within a mature Agile SDLC model; working closely with BA and QA teams as well as end users to drive solutions through completion.
  • Leverages technology to automate manual tasks and seeks to improve efficiency wherever practicable and appropriate. Makes recommendations for process improvements.
  • Lead software development features and conduct POC to develop and deliver new capability on the Empower platform
  • Create technical specs and document to explain feature details

Software Architect​

  • Be the technical lead and owner for key products of our core backend applications
  • Create and review Architectural diagrams and perform code reviews
  • Develop roadmap for strategy to build new and improve existing services
  • Articulate and document a solution architecture vision for the API team
  • Contribute to future vision and strategy by conducting research and proof of concepts
  • Map business capabilities and services to the solutions, and plan solutions for future business opportunities and features
  • Continuously improve processes, technologies, applications to provide best value to business
  • Partner with UI/UX and SRE teams to develop and enhance detailed application designs and Interfaces
  • Facilitate cross team and cross component collaboration for overall success of the Empower team and product
  • Collaborate with Product team to define overall software roadmap & vision to get the features delivered in time bound manner
  • Communicate tradeoffs (including time & cost) for different technical options and work with Engineering managers to drive the best decisions for the product
  • Ensure API developers and consultants work are in the best interest of the company and aligned with broader technology approaches and stack
  • work with Product manager to get the technical PBI created for the API team for each sprint
