Data Architect​

  • Lead a client engagement for all aspects of the technical solution in close coordination with the PBI Architect

  • Be the expert in Kimball modeling

  • Define and Build the overall Data Model in close coordination with the client

  • Architect and build state DB, delegating tasks as required to the Empower Delivery Team

  • Define the Modelling requirements to transform data from Silver to Gold and task Engineers as required to complete the ETL

  • Ensure User Stories are documented in ADO, adding stories as required to complete the project

  • Update tasks to for all your active assigned User Story in ADO, ensure estimates to complete are up to date

  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members on the Client team

  • Provide feedback to push product innovation

Data Engineer​

  • Be the expert in data engineering – Databricks, SQL, python, Azure Data Factory, etc

  • Create modelling notebooks as required by the Data Architect and in close coordination with the Client

  • Unravel the existing logic in clients databases and business logic to build Empower ADB notebooks

  • Be an expert in State DB and modify as required to meet the needs of modelling

  • Troubleshoot production errors and provide on time support to the Client

  • Update tasks to for all your active assigned User Story in ADO, ensure estimates to complete are up to date

  • Provide feedback to push product innovation

  • Have timesheets completed and submitted by Friday of each week

PBI Architect

  • Lead a client engagement for all aspects of business and reporting requirements for a client in close coordination with the Data Architect

  • Be the expert in Power BI

  • Define and build the overall shared model in close coordination with the Client

  • Define the Reporting requirements in close coordination with the Client

  • Delegate Stories/Tasks to complete the Power BI Project to the Empower Delivery Team

  • Ensure User Stories are documented in ADO, adding as required to complete the project

  • Update tasks to for all your active assigned User Story in ADO, ensure estimates to complete are up to date

  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members on the Client team

  • Provide feedback for product innovation

PBI Developer​

  • Be the expert in Power BI – Power Query, DAX, visuals, and beautiful reporting

  • Support the PBI Architect in building the shared model

  • Create required measures and transformations in Power BI

  • Create Power BI reports that exceed the Client’s expectations

  • Troubleshoot Power BI production errors and provide on time support to the Client

  • Update tasks to for all your active assigned User Story in ADO, ensure estimates to complete are up to date

  • Provide feedback to push product innovation

  • Have timesheets completed and submitted by Friday of each week

Delivery Manager​

  • Lead the relationship with Empower Clients

  • Be the de-facto Scrum Master ensuring ADO board is accurate and up to date to provide the transparency to the client on the project performance

  • Provide weekly/monthly updates to the Client on project milestones and budget

  • Ensure the needs and requirements for the Clients are exceeded by the Empower team

  • Ensure development team has the required resources to complete all tasks

  • Be the de-facto Business Analyst to help define the requirements during the initial engagement and sustainment

  • Be the connector; client to developers – delivery to product – Empower to Hitachi – opportunity to growth

  • Manage the budget and workplan for each project engagement

  • Provide feedback to push product and process innovation

  • Anything not covered by any other role on Delivery
